Happy happy happy

Dear All,

Here is our New Year gift:
www.erenlai.tv
Your new tool for creating and displaying your own shows!

eRenlai.tv is a new experimental website that enables its users to create web shows and tell stories just like the ones that can be found on its sister site eRenlai.com. An innovative interface allows users to upload photos and text to create film like animations with virtual camera movements. After logging in, you are guided through step by step to create a show: chose a title, upload pictures, add colorful text and sound.

Before you get started, here are a couple of tips from our developers: try to keep your movies short and lean (ideally 5 slides of 200kb each or a total of 1MB) to ensure a fast download for your audience. If you plan to make it longer or wish to take a break, chose the “I’m done” function that will save your work. To continue editing your show, go to “Select my shows”. We are still working to fix bugs in some versions of Firefox and Safari browsers. All comments and feedbacks are welcome!

eRenlai.tv was conceived and developed by Thibaut Camdessus and is published by the Taipei Ricci Institute together with Renlai Monthly and eRenlai.com.

And if you want to relax after adding your own stone to our celebration of creativity, you can just sit down and enjoy our bag of “artworks for the soul” offered by our Focus of the month: hopefully our selection of words, images and sounds will help you to pacify heart and mind, and to gather some inner strength as the year starts...
Our new photographers contributors, Fabio Bito Caraciolo and Tássia Novaes from Brazil depict Faces from Recôncavo (Bahia).
